A Little About Mrs. Heikkinen -
I grew up in the northwoods - Prentice to be exact - and currently live in Brantwood. I graduated from UWEC in 1999 and began my teaching career as a long-term substitute teacher in Tomahawk. In 2000 I got my first teaching position in Rib Lake where I taught middle school language arts for seven years. I became a teacher at MASH in 2007. In 2010 I earned my masters degree in Educational Technology from Marian College. My husband - Jeremy - and I have been married for twenty-four years and have three children - Trent (17), Ty (14), and Piper (9). We live on a beef farm and a Christmas tree farm. I love spending time with my family, traveling, being outdoors, and reading.
